A Letter from Home

This is #43- "Dying" for my 100-Theme Challenge: [link]

I got a letter from home today. I was so happy that I forgot to thank Nikki for handing it to me, and ran upstairs, eager for whatever was inside the envelope. I wondered what it could be. A simple how-are-you? Maybe something special happened while I was gone? I couldn't keep my head straight with all the possibilities! As I was about to enter my room, I made a sharp turn and ran down the hall to the Supply Closet. Elec Man would love to hear the news too, wouldn't he?

I scrambled through the many glass cases and looked carefully for which one responded to my shouting... Aha!
"Megaman... Are you overcharged today...?"
"No time, Elec Man! I just got a letter from everyone at home! I want you to come read it with me!"
"Alright, just... give me a minute. You woke me up on such a short noti--"
"Okay, okay! Just meet me in my room, okay?"

There was no way I could wait any longer, I ran back into my room and settled on my bed with the letter close to my chest.
It's been so long since I saw my family, practically years, I... That's it! No more waiting! I tore at the envelope, and unfolded the paper with shaky hands...

. . . .

"Megaman? Are you in here?"

. . . .

"Honestly, you ask me to hurry myself and you don't even...! . . .Rock?"

. . . .

"Is this the letter you mentioned earlier? . . .Will you let me look at it?"

Dear Rock,
How are you? I hope you're doing well over at Nintendo, we really miss you back home. Dr. Light and I are still holding strong, so don't you worry about us!

Actually, I need to tell you something really important. Things aren't going too well in CAPCOM. Sometimes, when I go to the city, some buildings are letting out some strange particles. It's like some epidemic going around, because it's even happening outside the lab. Dr. Light says there is some imbalance that's causing the buildings and everything to break apart. He didn't really want you to know about this, but something is definitely wrong. I think all of CAPCOM is disappearing.

If everything vanishes, what's going to happen to all of us? I don't know where we'll go.
It feels like the end of the world. There must be some way to help everyone! I know you can't come home yet, you have a huge responsibility on your hands already. I just wanted to see you again, after all these years. But if things are too late, this may be... goodbye.

Your Sister,
Roll
~

Oh dear, I did another one of those late-nighter things again. I really do apologize if the writing may be obscure on this one, I had intended to make a little quote-thing but ended up spewing the whole story so... It's also almost midnight, along with me taking a slightly different style of writing for this short-passage, I do hope things still make some sense.

Now I think some of us, maybe not, have heard some recent news in the gaming world-- with which I have just recently tried to follow: CAPCOM is currently in such poor bankruptcy, it is now up for sale. With that, I have taken this bit of unsettling news into the perspective of the world of the games themselves. Such is the point of my depictions anywho, to combine reality to the gaming world-- with some abstract twists of course.
But enough about that, I was going to go more in-depth with this story, but I thought it may become too wordy-n-complex, and just left it at that. Right now, everything is at a question. What company may end up buying CAPCOM? And if so, what may become of its inhabitants? Or for worse, what may happen if no one chooses to take the company in? In my depiction-perspective, that would mean any other companies (represented as countries) that don't decide to lend a hand to CAPCOM would thus leave that place into vanishing along with those who still remain within its borders.

Dark perhaps, but it was something that brought me literally into tears in my sleep just thinking about how it would affect our beloved characters, the moment I heard the news that night. Otherwise, I also do say "sorry" if my image is a little rushed. Elec Man really was supposed to be looking down at the letter in seriousness-- sometimes I get a poor grip when trying to position his eyes. ( o -o);
Basically, the picture is a little after-so of the story I shot above. Mega ends up clinging onto Elec, crying and confused.
I also hope that is recognizable. Until then, I wish you all a good evening and hope the best for CAPCOM's fate.

(Golly, why did I write this all fancy, huh...? Late-nights do this to me. :noes: )

Even though Capcom managed to turn their situation around, this piece is still a sad one indeed.
Still, the art quality is top notch like always Mew! Thumbs up
