Hesitation Deactivated

Thought that maybe I would have done an FE-based pichur for this theme, but nothing came to mind as the time and that seemed so obvious for the theme-title, huh? ( o ~o);

Now then, eh bubbies? Ever since Megaman's official appearance into Smash 4 a year-or-so ago, one of the many things that I loved about the presentation was the detail they put into... his eyes. They look so beautiful: bright, blue, but also still-n-cold to recall that he is indeed a robot. In addition, at some shots, you could see the very elements added into his eyes that showed that-- they "turned on" like a computer's screen, not to mention the texture seen through them that resembles as such.

No matter what, Megaman's eyes are just one of the top things I just loved about that video-- if not so much more, but they always capture my attention first.

Regardless, I cannot really capture that very detail in my drawings because it's so darn tricky, but the least I can do is work with the gaze they held in the beginning of his activation in the video. Mostly, this was due to my closeness with robot characters. One of which would be, say, KOSMOS from the Xenosaga series-- who always held this same gaze in her emotionless eyes.

Despite the creepy vibe coming from them, they always seemed so beautiful to me. It almost felt like, in Megaman's case, some sort of interesting way to compare how he himself is a sweet little child robot, but also capable of becoming something close to a "weapon for war". If you recall that one story I had regarding Samus meeting Mega for the first time, the idea is kinda like that.
. . .Goshers, it's just really hard to describe this feeling I get whenever I see those lovely eyes... *fuu*

Anywho, about the pichur itself, I wanted to test myself a little on trying to make a fire-based background. I can kinda do so-- in black-n-white meaning not much-- by adding those sparks and such behind the focused character, but otherwise coloring fire is tough! So then, sorry if this doesn't look as natural as need be. This was merely a brief thing I wanted  to do so I could vent out on Mega's eyes... Haa, they are just so darn lovely, why can't I capture them right? (Doodles always look better...!)
