Pride Runs in Our System

Apparently so does good looks.

I had gotten into a small moment of wanting to add another part to my semi-series of Helmetless Robot Master full-bodies, and this guy was the first to come into mind. I believe I recalled taichara asking if I could try drawing this fella, but I didn't know him too well at the time. But after a while, I was able to form an image in my head and ended up with this!

So, dear fellow-Devi~ I hope you enjoy this as my late gift to your suggest-request!
And to others, let me introduce you to MKN/RKN-003, Ballade. ( ' v');

Seem familiar maybe? He did appear a bit in my helmetless quick-doodles, did he not? [link]

What I had intended with this fine-formed chap was to make sure he still looked quite masculine, while able to hold this bit of handsomeness to his face. As for the hair, I read that his personally is almost similar to Bass-- wanting to be the best robot and is super competitive, but with pretty much anyone. Huh, I'd call him "Bigger Bass", if I knew who came first. I really have no idea or evidence who did.
But in any case, since he and Bass share that character along with their creator, I derived Ballade's hair from Bass just by a bit, of course so they didn't look 100% alike, right? That'd be just plain funny.

He looks kinda like a jock. I-I meant that as a compliment, he looks strong and handsome... and well-built! ( > ,<);

Also fun-fact, did you know I really have a problem with this pose? Well, not so much this one, but the ol'slump-sit-with-your-hand-to-chin thing. I'm not sure why, but I really get prickly when I see poses like that, I guess it makes people look awfully pretentious when they do that. But it isn't like I dislike characters doing that pose, it's more just the position itself-- funny, right? But that's just me, I ended up drawing Ballade in this pose for variety-reasons, and I guess since the perspective isn't exactly what I often see, I can let it slide.

After all, Ballade still looks pretty nice... floating in midair. ( o -o); *Huh*

Good thing is, my mojo-lack should be slowly subsiding. Maybe I could draw some more helmetless bots, no? ( ' v');
