Description

Also known as: "The Itty-Bitty Pieces of Others that Make Up Tsux Namine in Terms of Design and Whatnot"

I've been wanting to make something like this but not for my drawing style-- which I may do later with the original template-- but for Tsux herself. I notice there is a lot of stuff that helped me create her into looking like how she is now, and I mean more than just the aesthetics, too. :meow:

I sadly can't to this with my other UTAUloids or OC's, since Tsux is basically the closest and most developed character I've ever made in my whole life as of now. ( ' ~');

So how original is Tsux, eh? To be entirely honest, she literally was designed like how any "unoriginal" characters can be: literally bits and pieces thrown together (clothes and all). Though, I'm not sure if anyone has noticed, that's good right? Otherwise the references being obvious may mean I'm being unoriginal-- it's mere base-off business not rip-off.

Now then~! Any of these guys look familiar? I will now commence in the explaining of the stuff:

1. Miku Hatsune (VOCALOID)- Now I think this one's obvious since Tsux's an UTAUloid. Pretty much almost all UTAUloids branch off from VOCALOID-style anyway. In fact, Tsux's old birth certificate originally had me writing her as a VOCALOID, then crossed it out to be UTAU instead-- just to be different. What I intended design-wise was adding lights to Tsux's gloves-n-boots like Miku does quite subtly. I mainly just based off the concept of using these details, but didn't literally take them right off the Miku. Plus, I can't draw that skirt anyway~ Of course, people who know UTAU may be aware of the "Miku formula". which Tsux does indeed have: colored highlights along with the accents of black to emphasize. But that's totally normal, so long as I'm not actually stealing Miku's dear little clothes! Now Tsux's actual outfit concept was entirely based from my Smash Force fanfic so it's a different story that I cannot show with references.

2. KOSMOS (Xenosaga: Episode 1)- I grew up at a young age with some nice affiliations with androids and robots (like MetaBots, Power Rangers, Mega Man, DBZ, and Xenosaga). And so, playing Xenosaga at the age of 8, I really liked the idea of androids-- strong, compact, uniform, and yet also complex and unique at the same time. Of course, Tsux's not very provocative like general androids, so KOSMOS' outfit is not my concept-base here. All I really picked up from her physically is her ahoge. Crazy right? I really like that thing, but I also based the idea of a multi-weapon fighting-robot from KOSMOS as well. Hence why Tsux holds a variety of abilities, though not exactly weapons. It would probably have made more sense if I showed you KOSMOS' weapon selection, oopsies...

3. Megaman.EXE (Mega Man Battle Network)- "Hubby" is personally my favorite Megaman of all the Megamans, mainly because I knew him first and my brother played this type of game more often. As he appears in Smash Force, the outfit I designed for Megaman there has these metal plates on his face, and being that Tsux's origins are NOT first from UTAU but actually from Smash Force, her outfit was based there (again I said it, sorry). In other words, Tsux's metal plates from her headphones are kinda from this guy, but also technically not from this guy. But that's not the only point. Actual-canon-design-speaking, Tsux's hairstyle, bangs and such, are from this Megaman. And though I cannot bring myself to draw these kinds of bangs, Tsux's are drawn like they are shown above due to that. When really, her bangs are supposed to look like the reference picture of Megaman-- I mean, plus the ahoge as well~!

4. Zero (Mega Man X)- Believe it or not, Tsux's ponytail is not derived from Miku or Haku the VOCALOIDs. My brother played the ZX series of Megaman before, and seeing the models from there I was aware of Zero, with which I mean both Zero-Zero and X-Zero. But the ponytail-idea specifically comes from the Zero from the X games. It's thicker, and plus he's the dude I recognize more-- despite how the Model Z was the Zero-Zero (I think).

5. Tabuu (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)- I know I've kept mentioning that Tsux's got some relation to Tabuu, by that I don't mean she's his daughter or anything like that. Yeah no, that's weird... Her first incarnation was intended to be part of a race similar to Tabuu, so her background and form have roots strongly to Tabuu. This also explains her wings that you don't see here, and her glass interior. These all take root from Tabuu, and I have to say is a very important part of Tsux's concept.

6. Algol (SoulCalibur IV)- Though not exactly the same, Tsux's personality and general character are derived from Algol as in: a very powerful being who awaits countless people who wish to challenge them. So you can say before her current life, Tsux was like a "boss character" in terms of who she was. That was mainly what I meant when I say, I don't choose to make Tsux a protagonist of anything but more so a helper character who does something without stealing someone's spotlight. And being that power is an important idea/concept to characters such as Algol, Tsux shares a similar trait. Thus, she can be adamant deep inside, and ruthless when people talk down at her.

There are other characters that helped me work out Tsux's outfit, but as I said it's mainly just outfit I originally designed for those said characters anyway. So really, her outfit is an original design. Though I was gonna add Pit here for the sake of her boy-shorts, but then I thought that'd be just plain random. ^^;

Well, that's our lesson for today~! I hope you enjoyed the quick-insight! :dummy:
