Friends with Benefits

Ah okay, so the other reason I took a while getting Ridley's Newcomer Art done was because I wanted to make a comic to go with his reveal, oops.

I really wanted to upload them together, just to stay consistent with my mojo at the time.

This isn't anything too deep or complicated, I just wanted to give these losers some love, especially since one of them managed to get his chance before the other in Smash.

Also... Ridley doesn't really have any friends to celebrate his big moment with anyway, does he? Though it seems he doesn't want to admit that this flat-ended loser is his only friend.

Well, knowing that Chrom is naturally a supportive person, I guess Ridley wanted to take advantage of that, and be showered with praise.

I guess he didn't expect what sort of affection Chrom would throw at him. I mean, what would you expect from a guy whose known to embarrass his family in the open anyway?

But enough about explaining my reasons for drawing this, drawing Ridley multiple times in the same comic was like that Charizard comic all over again. Every panel he turns into a different dragon and gains-or-loses a detail, but I tried to manage what I could, especially with the amount of space he required in each shot. Do remember, I am not exactly a skilled anthro/creature-artist. ( > ,<);

Overall, I just wanted to make something cheesy as heckie with these two. Just because one of them is playable now doesn't mean I've stopped putting them together.

It just means Chrom has more people to root for, and luckily that's one thing he's very good at doing.

Too bad that means he's officially on Samus' bad side.
